Purpose

I’m an aspiring public relations and political science professional focused on strategic communications, constituent engagement, and public service storytelling. This site highlights my Capitol Hill experience, leadership roles, and growing skills in social media, press support, event planning, and issue-driven advocacy as I prepare for a career in public affairs.

Capitol Hill Communications Intern - US House 

May 2025 - July 2025

Worked from May through end of July, 5 days a week for a Congresswoman. I became the head communications intern. I ran the representative’s Instagram, photographed her meetings, helped with press releases, answered phone calls, and gave constituent tours. I did work for everyone but most of my work was for the head of communications.

Capitol Hill Intern - US Senate

April 2024 - May 2024

Worked for a US Senator for  my senior externship. Worked with constituents by answering phone calls, emails, and mail. Helped host open coffee houses for constituents to talk with the Senator’s team on issues. Attending hearings and conferences.  

Capitol Hill Intern - US House December 2022 - March 2023

Accepted to a small competitive program that allowed me to work on Capitol Hill after school five days a week for three months. I learned about politics behind the scenes, understanding how to work with a team, and how to represent a person through communication.

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS)  Student of the Year Leader

September 2022 - March 2023

Was selected as one of three leaders for my group in LLS student of the year program. In this program, we had seven weeks to try and raise money for blood cancer. My team placed in the top ten in our state. I grew my skills in fundraising, event planning, and non-profit behind-the-scenes knowledge.

McCain Ravenel Center Leader

September 2022 - May 2024

The McCain Ravenel Center –founded in honor of alumni John McCain– was a unique organization at my high school that worked on hosting speakers on campus, planning events for students to utilize the opportunities being near DC offered, and getting to interview important people. My time in this program taught me event planning skills, interviewing skills, and overall communication skills. 

One Love Club Communications Leader

September 2022 - May 2024

Helped start my high school’s One Love Club, which helps to bring awareness to domestic abuse. I learned how to professionally handle serious topics as well as how to get more people involved. 

Jewish Affinity Founder/Leader 

September 2020 - May 2024

Founded schools Jewish Affinity group. Took on faculty leader role and learned how to hold open conversations, make people feel comfortable with their identity, and worked with other affinity groups to have events together.
